Privacy and your details
What a note contains
A sent note carries your name, the contacts you entered and the fields of the note: the entry concerned, what should change, where to check it and your connection to the place. The address and language of the page are sent with it. One hidden field, invisible to people, is there only so that spam robots give themselves away.
How notes are used
A form service keeps the notes until the editors go through them at the next revision. They are used only to check and apply the update; nobody is contacted unless the note asks for a reply and gives a contact. Names and contacts never appear on the site and are never sold or handed to the club, school or organiser concerned; the entry changes page records the change, never who sent it.
How visits are counted
A small script served from this site’s own domain counts page views. It sets no cookie and follows no one across other sites. Each view records the page, the page that linked to it, and the browser, type of device and country taken from the request; only totals are ever looked at.
Nothing fetched from elsewhere
These pages load no advertising network, social-media button or outside tracker, and fetch no fonts, maps or images from other servers. A link to a source or a map takes you to another site with its own privacy terms. The hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses only as far as needed to deliver the pages.
Your rights under the GDPR
To have a note of yours corrected or deleted, send a new one through the form with the same name and contact and say so. The form service is updated when notes are next gone through, and you get a reply only if you ask and leave a contact. You may also complain to Lithuania’s supervisory authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija).
