Chess on a Monday evening in Vilnius 3

Monday in Vilnius is the evening for chess without a clock running down. Vilniaus šachmatų klubas has moved its Monday games to the bar Rūsio Aidai on Savičiaus gatvė, where they start at 19:00, cost nothing and come with a host who can explain a position or two; the club’s calendar lists them week by week until late December 2026.

The same Monday evenings were once held from 18:00 to 20:00 in the Dialogai food court of the Europa shopping centre, on a page that invited beginners and carries no date. Nothing newer places them there, so that entry is shown as not confirmed. The club itself is listed here because the Monday games are its own.
